Haesung Kim focuses her practice on employment-based immigration. With over 10 years of experience, Haesung is recognized by both clients and peers for her skill at cutting through the complexity of sponsorship of foreign national employees in the U.S. to allow employers to reach their staffing goals. Haesung is not just a legal expert in U.S. Immigration law, but is also technically savvy and led the implementation of new immigration case management systems at Maggio + Kattar while she was first employed with our firm in 2007. Haesung now uses her rare blend of legal and technical acumen to develop creative, efficient and effective immigration solutions to best fit each employer's needs.

Haesung works with employers of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies , counseling companies on managing immigration programs, and providing assistance to employees in all facets of non-immigrant and immigrant visas before the Department of Labor, the Department of State, and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services. Haesung has particular expertise managing the PERM labor certifications process for both large and small Silicon Valley-based employers and addressing the special challenges these companies encounter in retaining foreign talent.

The immigration sponsorship process can be stressful for both employers and the foreign national employees they sponsor, but Haesung approaches each challenge with cool intelligence, diffusing concerns, instilling confidence and keeping matters on track.

Haesung holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University and a Bachelor's degree from Smith College. A member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, her practice is limited to federal immigration matters.
